Revere Basics
Why do I need ratings and reviews on my website?
92% of customers read reviews before making a purchase online, and product reviews can increase conversions by up to 178%. Customers are looking for social proof when they shop online, and they want the ability to ‘try before they buy.” Ratings and reviews allow them to do just that, giving them the confidence to make a purchase.
How does Revere compare to other reviews platforms?
With Revere, you’re in control of your ratings and reviews, Q&A, moderation, and reporting. The data is yours to analyze and export to your other business tools. We don’t syndicate your reviews, so you own your content, and traffic will keep driving back to your site. We also give you the tools to communicate effectively with consumers, building a loyal base of repeat customers and brand advocates.
Will Revere break the bank?
Revere is currently one of the most cost-effective ratings and reviews platforms on the market, but we offer more data and more insights to retailers. Our mission is to help you sell smarter using data that your customers are generating, because your business is our business too.
What is the difference between each Revere tier?
Revere offers four different tiers to fit your budget and meet the needs of your business: Lite, Business, Pro, and Enterprise. Each tier offers star ratings, profanity filtering, the ability to reply to reviews and the ability to share reviews on social. With each tier you receive access to additional features like more reviews, badging, Q&A, Heartbeat and a Client Success Manager. For more information on pricing, check out our Pricing & Plans page. If you would like assistance deciding on the best Revere tier for your business, please contact our team at [email protected].
Can I customize Revere to fit my business's needs?
Every aspect of Revere is customizable and designed to fit organically with your site’s branding. You can change the questions required in each review, the display and aesthetics of the reviews and emails, and much more, all in the Admin tool. If you don’t like the stars, we can even customize an icon for your ratings.
Is Revere mobile-friendly?
Revere was designed with a mobile first mentality. Mobile now accounts for about 65% of total digital media consumption, and on average people spend over 4 hours a day on their mobile devices. Revere helps you meet your customers where they are to create real business results.

Support
How do reviews affect my conversion rate?
Nothing qualifies your product better than reviews. Sites with reviews on average experience an 11% increase in conversion rate, as well as an 18% increase in sales. User-generated content on your products provides consumers with instant social proof and gives them the confidence they need to make a purchase.
How do reviews impact my SEO?
More than a third of shoppers start their purchase journey on a search engine, so optimizing your site for search is vital to engaging consumers. User-generated content such as ratings, reviews, and Q&A keep content on your site fresh, giving search engines new content to crawl. Reviews also create long-tail keywords by highlighting consumer trends, and they help create SEO attributes to help you rank higher and increase quality website traffic. What information will I get from Reporting Intelligence?
Revere’s Artificial Intelligence-enhanced reports do more than just monitor the basics. Revere dashboards give you an instant reporting of what elements are being used on your site, what Revere channels are converting into sales, and what products are rated highest and lowest. Engagement reports give you a detailed look at customer sentiment, which Revere elements are getting the most use, and the distribution of UGC across your products. Revenue reports detail how your UGC assisted with transactions on your site, and allow you to view the Revere influence on a number of eCommerce KPM’s, such as what Revere channels are providing incremental revenue, and which Revere elements are converting the best.
What if I get a negative review?
Research has shown that negative reviews can actually be a good thing for your business. Customers are more likely to trust that the reviews are real if there at least one or two negative ones, and this can help build trust in your brand over time. Additionally, negative reviews can help your team see areas for improvement, and, if handled correctly, showcase your excellent customer service. See? Nothing to be afraid of!
